Sam Graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. He also
holds a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education degree from Mount Royal University. Sam has also
completed additional training, completing his Level 1 Manual Orthopedic certification and is also
certified in spinal manipulation through the SMART training program (Spinal Manipulation Assessment &
Rehabilitation Training). Sam has experience as a client in physiotherapy stemming from many injuries
as an athlete which led to his pursuit of PT as a career. He believes every client can benefit from
movement and takes pride in thoroughly assessing each client to encourage safe, effective, and
individualized exercise for all.
Sam incorporates education, manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and
exercise prescription into all his treatments. He also prides himself on creating a therapeutic connection
to ensure his clients are empowered with the knowledge and confidence to be the leader in their own
recovery. Sam also has a soft spot for knee rehab stemming from his experience with multiple knee
injuries sustained as a competitive hockey and lacrosse player where he won 5 Provincial and 1 National
title. Outside of the clinic, Sam enjoys staying active through weight training, camping, fishing, cycling,
playing hockey, and golfing.
